Install...
If you saved REACH to your desktop, install it by locating the downloaded file
icon (see below) and then double-clicking
it.
If you downloaded it to a different folder, its name is "reach4 setup.exe."

(To install, if you downloaded it to your desktop look for and double-click this icon.)
Follow the instructions in the installation.
Once the entire installation and licensing is complete, you can remove the installation program you downloaded by clicking on its icon (shown above) and pressing the delete key.

Register & License...
After installation, run REACH and you will see that REACH runs in demo mode. On the
initial demo screen click on the
green "Licensing..." button.

Yes! For $7.00 you can have AHF send you a CD.
Can I get the entire package containing the CD and the new 4.0 User's Manual?

Can I upgrade to REACH 4.0 from 3.0 if I am not registered?
Yes! If you own a valid 3.0 key disk, the serial number
stamped on it will be required for registration.
Do I have to uninstall REACH 3.0 before downloading 4.0?
No. REACH 4.0 installs in a different folder so there is no need to uninstall
REACH 3.0 if you don't want to. When you install, just look for the REACH 4.0 icon.

I've made some keyboards in REACH 3.0 that I want to use in REACH 4.0. Is this possible?
Yes. All you have to do is copy the REACH keyboards from the REACH 3.0 keyboard folder to the REACH 4.0
keyboard folder.
I've made some unique dictionaries in REACH 3.0 that I want to use in REACH 4.0. Is this possible?
Yes. All you have to do is copy the dictionaries from the REACH 3.0 "user" folder to the REACH 4.0 "user" folder.
However, if the dictionary in REACH 3.0 has an extension ".di_" you'll need to rename the dictionary to ".dic" after you've copied it to the REACH 4.0 user folder.
