Sample Special (Alphabetic) Keyboard
Sample "Special" alphabetic keyboard.

Special keyboards are defined as those intended to help someone type or enter data more easily, but which are not as common as standard keyboards. Some good examples are the two alphabetic keyboards (alphab1.kbd and alphab2.kbd), which are included with REACH Interface Author to help someone who is not familiar with the standard QWERTY keyboard (see above picture).

Another example is the functions keyboard (function.kbd), provided so that if you are using the standard QWERTY typing keyboard on the Keyboard Turntable, you can have easy access to the computer function keys not present on the QWERTY keyboard.
