Picture of Puzzle Keyboard
Example of a difficult Puzzle Keyboard with some of the "pieces" removed.

Puzzle Keyboards are for fun, but also can provide stimulus-response stimulation and point-and-click practice. Simply click on one of the rectangular pieces, and it is removed, showing part of the "puzzle". Keep removing puzzle pieces until you can guess what the picture is. Reset the puzzle by pressing the "Start Over" key.

For an example of an easy puzzle (91 pieces), load puzzle1.kbd. For a more difficult puzzle(299 pieces), load puzzle2.kbd (see above picture).

To make your own Puzzle Keyboard, use the REACH Keyboard Author. Load the tmpuzzez.kbd Template Keyboard if you want to make an easy puzzle and load the tmpuzzhd.kbd Template Keyboard if you want to make a hard puzzle. Create the "bmp" picture you want using a graphics program and load it as a keyboard picture (in Keyboard Details). To see how it works, save the new keyboard and load it into REACH Interface Author using "Select" in the Keyboard Menu.
