Frequent Question #1: Why upgrade from Version 1 to Version 2?
Answer: If you are running Microsoft Vista you need Version 2.
Frequent Question #2: ScanBuddy™ was included in a REACH Scan Plus™ OR REACH Scan Plus Lists™ software bundle that we purchased. Do we need to upgrade both the ScanBuddy™ and the REACH™ products?
Answer: Yes, if you are running Windows Vista.

The current version of ScanBuddy™ is Version 2 (for Vista). Find the "Situation" below that is the closest to your situation:
Situation 1: We recently purchased ScanBuddy™ Version 1 (AHF processed our order after 10/1/2006).
Upgrade Solution: Until January 1, 2008 you can receive a free upgrade to ScanBuddy Version 2:
1) download and install ScanBuddy Version 2 (click here to start the ScanBuddy 2 download procedure)
2) run ScanBuddy 2, click on the green "Licensing.." button, and follow the directions for licensing ScanBuddy
Situation 2: We purchased ScanBuddy™ Version 1 and AHF processed our order before September 1, 2006.
Upgrade Solution: Upgrade from Version 1 to Version 2 ScanBuddy™ for $83 (35% discount):
1) download and install ScanBuddy Version 2 (click here to start the ScanBuddy 2 download procedure)
2) call AHF toll-free at 888 243-0098 with credit card information OR, if you are with the organization that originally purchased REACH, mail or fax AHF a purchase order (Fax: 210 408-0097)
3) after your purchase, AHF will provide you with a new Serial Number and instructions for licensing your upgraded ScanBuddy™
4) run ScanBuddy 2, click on the green "Licensing.." button, and follow the directions for licensing ScanBuddy™
Situation 3: We purchased ScanBuddy™ Version 1 some time ago and we have the older "key disks" (or we lost our CD or key disks). We are not running Vista and want to get the FREE upgrade to ScanBuddy 1.0.8.
Upgrade Solution: Upgrade from Version 1 to Version 1.0.8 ScanBuddy™ for FREE:
1) download and install ScanBuddy Version 2 (click here to start the ScanBuddy 1.0.8 download procedure)
2) install and run ScanBuddy 1.0.8, click on the green "Licensing.." button, and follow the directions for licensing ScanBuddy™ (you will need to know your original serial number).
